The American Hornbook Company provides students with the “need to know" facts necessary to succeed in the world. There are a finite number of facts basic to various subjects that must be learned in order to ascend to the next level. The American Hornbook Collection presents those facts for math, language arts, science, social studies, history, geography, multiculturalism, and specific state content in a student-friendly format, a hornbook. Students enjoy having the critical facts right in their hands. Hornbooks may be used for remedial or enrichment purposes, or to benefit limited English proficient students.

With the multicultural hornbooks, knowledge of other ethnicities like Hispanic Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans, and learning about their contributions opens minds and fosters an appreciation of our differences and more importantly, what is not so different about each of us.
Two levels of hornbooks for subject areas, elementary and middle school, provide students with the appropriate reading level. When students are provided with appropriate leveled reading content, the learning process is hastened.
